7 December 2011 -- Snowman Software's annual DaySchool® User's Conference has concluded today in Research Triangle Park, NC, USA. The event was attended at full capacity and was a big success.
The Conference offers hands-on training to brand new DaySchool® users (be sure to sign up for the optional Pre-Conference for Beginners if you are new to DaySchool) as well as veteran users and focuses on real life scenarios during the training. Each attendee has his/her own workstation to use the entire conference.
Specifics: Pre-Conference for Beginners Tuesday, 6 December 2011 9:30 am through 12:00 pm (includes lunch at noon)
The Pre-Conference will address everything a beginner to the software needs to know - getting around in the system, creating simple reports, using wizards to create letters and labels, etc.
2011 DaySchool User's Conference Tuesday, 6 December 2011 1:15 pm through 5:00 pm ---------- Wednesday, 7 December 2011 9:00 am through 3:00 pm
The Conference will have separate DaySchool training sessions to focus on Admissions (while those interested in Development enjoy a round table discussion); Development (while those interested in Admissions enjoy a round table discussion); the new Forms Wizard (Emergency forms, Rosters, Phone-a-thon forms, Lists, etc.); Enrollment/Registration; Custom Reports; New features in Version 6.0; and other areas where interest indicates.
The Conference includes a special dinner at a fabulous local restaurant on Tuesday evening, and a catered Southern-style, home-coooked lunch on Wednesday.
